Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a delightful city break at Herodion Hotel, nestled just below the stunning Acropolis in the vibrant neighborhood of Makrygianni. The hotel's convenient location means you're mere moments away from the Acropolis Museum and a plethora of charming restaurants-don't miss the little gem owned by the hotel across the street, where the atmosphere is as inviting as the food. Breakfast was a feast of local delights like fresh yogurt and pastries, although it did get a bit busy, reflecting the hotel's popularity. Our courtyard room was a peaceful retreat from the lively streets of Athens, and the staff truly stood out with their warmth and willingness to assist. I adored sipping my morning coffee on the terrace, soaking in the views and planning our explorations, while the eye-catching artwork scattered throughout the hotel seamlessly merges modern creativity with Grecian charm.
